The Westminster, Md., product capitalized on 75 percent of his shots with three goals against the Beavers, putting all four of his attempts on frame. Fellow forward Mateusz Marciniak rattled off a brace in Monday's victory, scoring both goals just 23 seconds apart.
Landon Lackner registered his first collegiate strike in the 25th minute and finished with an assist. Attacker Jackson Gould tallied his first goal of the year just four minutes later and also added a helper to his final stat line.
Eric Danquah and Luca Fargnoli each recorded two helpers on Monday while Otto Levin registered one assist in the win. Markus Pusztahegyi fired off a game-high six shot attempts, including two on target in 90 minutes of work.
The Red Storm quickly jumped out to a two-goal lead less than four minutes into the contest. The Linden, N.J., native ripped a cross-body shot into the back of the net for the eventual game-winner.
Just 23 seconds later, the Johnnies forced a turnover and Danquah headed a ball to a streaking Gould down the right side. The Red Storm attacker ripped a pass through the box and found a sliding Marciniak at the back post to double the lead, 2-0.
The Johnnies continued to bolster its lead after a headed pass from Lackner led Marciniak into open space. A touch pass from the freshman pushed the speedy Geho into the box and the sophomore flicked his shot over the keeper's head for a 3-0 advantage.
Geho found the back of the net in the 22nd minute after blasting an attempt past the goalie at the near post for his second of the game.
The 6-foot-3 striker completed the hat trick after Kyle Joyce ripped a shot towards the frame that pinballed around the box before falling to Geho's cleats for the tap-in. The Maryland product registered three goals under 13 minutes to give the Red Storm a 5-0 lead.
Lackner registered the team's sixth goal as Fargnoli jumpstarted Levin down the right side. The Swedish defender threaded a pass into the box and found Lackner at the back post for the one-timer, giving St. John's a 6-0 lead.
Gould caught the Beavers out of position in the 30th minute. The Clifton Park, N.Y., product fired a shot from 45 yards out over the keeper's head and into the back of the net for a 7-0 lead.
The Johnnies tallied 18 total shots, including 10 on target. St. John's also produced four corners in the contest. Emmanuel Smalios made two saves in his first win of the year.
CCNY's Kerneil Melius scored the team's lone tally in the 79th minute before holding on for the six-goal victory.
