St. John’s Unveils Johnnies Nation Podcast: The Official Podcast of the Red Storm Men’s Basketball Program

QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's Athletic Department unveiled the brand-new Johnnies Nation Podcast, which will give fans an inside look to the St. John's men's basketball program.
The Johnnies Nation Podcast will be the official pulse of St. John's Basketball throughout the 2025-26 season, featuring courtside stories and exclusive insight straight from the players themselves. The inaugural episode, which is presented by Hospital for Special Surgery, is now available on the St. John's Red Storm YouTube Channel, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and iHeart Radio. Highlights from each episode will be shared on the team's official Instagram, X formerly known as Twitter, and TikTok accounts.
Episode one highlights the Johnnies' four returnees, Zuby Ejiofor, Sadiku Ibine Ayo, Ruben Prey and Lefteris Liotopoulos. The Johnnies share first-hand stories from last year's run to a BIG EAST Regular Season and Tournament Championships while also recapping summer workouts and the season ahead.
Led by 2024-25 National Coach of the Year Rick Pitino, the St. John's men's basketball team tied a program record with 31 wins and earned a No. 2 seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Red Storm welcomes in the top-rated transfer class in the country and returns a core of veterans including Ejiofor, a 2024-25 All-BIG EAST First Team selection.
