St. John's will play a 20-game league slate scheduled to face each opponent twice for the first time since the 2022-23 season. The Red Storm is coming off its third consecutive winning season heading into the 14th season under the direction of Head Coach Joe Tartamella. During the Tartamella Era, the Johnnies have recorded nine top-five regular season league finishes in 13 years.

The BIG EAST Conference has entered a new media rights agreement that will feature 65 nationally broadcast contests across the league on FOX Sports and NBC Sports. All additional contests will be streamed on ESPN+.
The Red Storm will kick-off league competition on Dec. 4 when it welcomes Creighton to Queens. Three years ago on the same date, the Johnnies upset then-No. 13/14 Creighton, 66-62, in their conference home opener during the 2022-23 campaign.
Three days later, St. John's will face Providence at Carnesecca Arena on Dec. 7. The Red Storm have captured seven of the last eight meetings over the Friars and the last six at home, dating back to 2019.
After wrapping its non-conference slate, the Red Storm will return to BIG EAST play for its first conference road trip of the 2025-26 season when it battles Villanova at the Finneran Pavilion on Dec. 22.
Following Christmas, Coach Tartamella's group will make its first of five road trips to the Midwest to meet Marquette at the Al McGuire Center on Dec. 29.
The Johnnies will ring in 2026 with a New Year's Day contest against DePaul at Carnesecca Arena. The BIG EAST battle will mark the first time the Red Storm have ever hosted a home game on New Year's Day.
On Jan. 7, St. John's will pay a visit to the defending National Champions Connecticut at the newly named PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford. In its last visit to the building formerly named the XL Center, the Red Storm shocked then-No. 4/5 UConn, 69-64, on Feb. 21, 2023.
The Red Storm will head back to Queens to ready for a Jan. 10 contest with Butler after sweeping the Bulldogs last season. The Johnnies cruised to a 22-point victory at Madison Square Garden in the regular season and downed Butler in the BIG EAST Tournament First Round at Mohegan Sun.
The following week, the squad will travel for a pair of road contests at Georgetown (Jan. 13) and at Xavier (Jan. 17).
On Jan. 21, St. John's will welcome Marquette for its first visit to New York City in over two years. The last time the Golden Eagles were at Carnesecca Arena the Johnnies logged a ranked win over then-No. 19/20 Marquette on Jan. 3, 2024.
Next up is another home contest in Queens as St. John's will host longtime BIG EAST foe Villanova on Jan. 24.
Another road stint for the Johnnies is on deck when it ventures to Creighton (Jan. 28) and at Providence (Jan. 31) to close out the month.
The Red Storm will come back to the Big Apple to square off with Xavier on Feb. 4. St. John's has won its past 20 meetings over the Musketeers and is 11-0 in the series at home.
Three days later, Seton Hall will make the trip across state lines for the 92nd all-time meeting between the two longtime rivals on Feb. 7 in Queens.
The Red Storm will prepare for its final Midwest swing of the 2025-26 campaign when it heads to DePaul (Feb. 10) before facing Butler on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14).
After hosting Georgetown on Feb. 18, the Johnnies will head to New Jersey for a battle with Seton Hall on Feb. 22.
Following a week break, St. John's will finish out the regular season when it hosts Connecticut on March 1. The location will be determined at a later date.
The 2026 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament will be held at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., for the sixth straight year on March 6-9, 2026.
Tartamella returns three starters from last year's team that went 10-1 in non-conference play. Additionally, St. John's added a talented class of newcomers highlighted by ASUN Freshman of the Year Sa'Mya Wyatt out of Austin Peay. Catch all the action by purchasing your season tickets today.
