St. John’s to Host Michigan in Bad Boy Mowers Series - New York on October 25 at Madison Square Garden

The Johnnies and Wolverines to square off on Saturday Night at The World’s Most Famous Arena
QUEENS – The St. John's men's basketball team will square off with Michigan for the Bad Boy Mowers Series - New York on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. inside Madison Square Garden.
Coming off a perfect 12-0 record at Madison Square Garden during the 2024-25 campaign, the Red Storm will play its first-ever exhibition contest inside the World's Most Famous Arena. St. John's and Michigan will partner with Complete Sports Management (CSM) for the matchup between the two storied programs in Midtown Manhattan.
"CSM is proud to partner with St. John's and Michigan to showcase these two top programs in The World's Most Famous Arena," said Complete Sports Management CEO Lea Miller-Tooley. "It will be a great early test for fans to come watch."
General on-sale will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, click here to purchase tickets. All St. John's season ticket holders and MSG Plan holders will have their tickets uploaded as part of the packages to their MY JOHNNIES account. Any fan that purchases a MSG plan before 4 p.m. today will have the exhibition contest included.
The Red Storm and Wolverines have met six times in the regular season, most recently in National Coach of the Year Rick Pitino's Madison Square Garden debut as St. John's Head Coach on Nov. 13, 2023.
The Johnnies will play four non-conference games at The Mecca as part of its highly-anticipated out-of-league slate. Following the exhibition against Michigan, St. John's will return to the World's Most Famous Arena on Nov. 8 to meet Alabama. The Red Storm is fresh off a 31-5 season after capturing the BIG EAST Tournament and Regular Season Championship during the 2024-25 campaign. Pitino reloaded with the nation's best transfer portal class according to ESPN and 247Sports while returning team captain and the leading offensive rebounder in NCAA Division I, Zuby Ejiofor.
