Red Storm Report Episode Two Debuts Tonight on MSGSN

The newest episode of St. John’s Basketball’s weekly show will debut tonight at 5:30 p.m. and air again at 10 p.m.
QUEENS, N.Y. - The second episode of Red Storm Report will premiere tonight on MSG Sports Network (MSGSN). The show will debut at 5:30 p.m. and will run again at 10 p.m. On Saturday, episode two will be broadcast at 3:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. prior to a pair of road contests for the St. John's men's and women's basketball program.
The men's squad rides a three-game winning streak into the City of Brotherly Love to take on Villanova at 8 p.m. on Peacock and NBC Sports Network. The women's team will face Xavier at 1 p.m. at the Cintas Center on ESPN+. The Red Storm has won 20 games in a row over the Musketeers.
The Red Storm Report, hosted by St. John's Radio Network analyst Brandon Tierney, provides an all-access behind the scenes look at the Red Storm men's and women's basketball programs. Each episode will be available at RedStormSports.com and select individual segments will be available on YouTube and social media platforms.
The second edition features an inside-look at St. John's new partnership with adidas and a campus visit from six-time NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell along with an exclusive sit-down interview with Head Coach Rick Pitino as he discusses the Johnnies' 5-1 start in conference play.
This week's player profile will feature sophomore guard Lefteris Liotopoulos. One of four returners from last year's championship team, the Greece native has carved out a key role off the bench during his second year in Queens. Liotopoulos averaged 13.5 points per game on 50 percent (7-14 FG) shooting from deep during a pair of road victories at Creighton and Butler.
St. John's women's basketball feature will introduce ASUN Freshman of the Year Sa'Mya Wyatt. After ranking second in the country in field goal percentage amongst freshman at Austin Peay, the forward has made an instant impact starting all 19 games for Head Coach Joe Tartamella. The Powder Springs, Ga., native is averaging 9.9 points per game on 54.5 percent shooting from the floor.
