New Episode of Red Storm Report Premiers Tonight on MSGSN

Episode three will air four times prior to St. John’s contest at Xavier on Saturday
QUEENS, N.Y. - Episode three of the Red Storm Report will debut tonight on MSG Sports Network (MSGSN).
The newest episode of the St. John's Men's and Women's Basketball series will debut tonight at 9 p.m. On Saturday, episode three will be broadcast at 1 a.m., 3:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. prior to a pair of pivotal BIG EAST contests for the St. John's basketball teams.
The men's team takes a five-game winning streak into the Cintas Center as Head Coach Rick Pitino will go for his 900th career on-court victory against his son, Richard's Xavier team. The contest from Cincinnati will tip-off at 2:30 p.m. on TNT and truTV.
The St. John's women's basketball team will host its second consecutive nationally-televised game at Carnesecca Arena on Saturday. The Red Storm will welcome Villanova for a 2 p.m. tip-off on FS1.
Red Storm Report, hosted by St. John's Radio Network analyst Brandon Tierney, provides an all-access behind the scenes look at the Red Storm men's and women's basketball programs. Each episode will be available on RedStormSports.com and select individual segments will be available on YouTube and social media platforms.
The third edition of the program features a sit-down interview with Tierney and senior forward Dillon Mitchell. Additionally, fans will get to learn about the players pets off the court.
The player profile features Mitchell, who has played an integral role in St. John's five-game winning streak. The versatile forward has averaged 9.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists since re-entering the starting line-up. The Tampa Bay native leads the team shooting 59.3 percent from the field and has registered back-to-back double-doubles.
The women's basketball feature highlights starting point guard Shaulana Wagner. One of the top distributors in the nation, the Detroit native leads the BIG EAST and ranks 38th in NCAA Division I dishing out 5.0 assists per game. Wagner, ranked fourth in the country last season in assists per game (6.7) and began her collegiate career in the BIG EAST at Xavier in 2020-21.
