QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's men's basketball program mourns the loss of former player and longtime FOX Sports producer Ron McGugins, who passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, January 24th.
McGugins was a three-time letterwinner for St. John's from 1973-76 under Lou Carnesecca. The forward appeared in 34 games over his career in Queens and was a part of two trips to the NIT and a 1976 NCAA Tournament appearance for the Johnnies.
