In a thrilling 3-2 win at Butler, Bell tallied 14 kills while swinging a match-best .478, rejecting 4.0 total shots on the evening. The next day at Xavier, she tallied a career-best and match-high 18 kills while swinging over .500.
Over the 12 conference contests, Bell leads all players with a .393 hitting percentage while firing 100 kills. Overall, the middle blocker is third in the BIG EAST with a .357 hitting percentage.
Tesoro turned in a pair of double-doubles as the Johnnies split their matches over the weekend. She totaled 33 kills and 27 digs across 10 sets of work and added 1.5 total blocks (3 BA).
Against Butler, she recorded a match-best 19 kills and chipped in 12 digs as the team recorded 89 digs, the most since 2018. At Xavier, she fired 14 kills and dug up 15 balls, with a pair of service aces to boot.
Bell, Tesoro and the rest of the Red Storm return to Queens for the final regular season matches at home. The Johnnies will welcome a red-hot Providence team on Friday, Nov. 6. The next day, the program will honor its lone senior, Solano Smith, and host its annual Alumnae Day prior to first serve against UConn.
