QUEENS, N.Y. - The high-flying duo of Zuby Ejiofor and Dillon Mitchell were named to the 2026 State Farm Slam Dunk Championship Watch List, as announced by Intersport.
The 2026 Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships will be held on Friday, April 3 at 7 p.m. inside historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis ahead of the Final Four. Mitchell and Ejiofor were selected to a list of 48 players featuring the best rim-rockers from across the country. St. John's is one of four schools with multiple players selected joining Michigan, Providence and Rhode Island. The final participants will be announced closer to the event.
Mitchell, a dynamic forward, has thrown down a team-high 33 dunks this season. Last year at Cincinnati, the Tampa Bay native ranked 10th in NCAA Division I totaling 66 slams. This season, the team captain is averaging 9.4 points on a team-high 56.6 percent shooting and 7.2 rebounds per game.
