New Episode of the Red Storm Report Premieres Tonight on MSG Sports Network

This week’s episode premieres at 5:30 p.m. prior to the No. 22/22 Red Storm’s contest against No. 3/3 UConn at MSG
QUEENS, N.Y. - The newest episode of the Red Storm Report will premiere tonight at 5:30 p.m. ahead of No. 22/22 St. John's marquee showdown with No. 3/3 UConn at Madison Square Garden.
The episode will re-air at 9:30 p.m. on MSG Sports Network. On Saturday, the show will run at 1:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. ahead of the St. John's women's basketball team's contest against Seton Hall at 2 p.m. on ESPN+
Red Storm Report, hosted by Brandon Tierney, provides an all-access behind the scenes look at the Red Storm men's and women's basketball programs. Each episode will be uploaded to RedStormSports.com and select individual segments will be available on YouTube and social media platforms.
Tierney sits down with graduate student Bryce Hopkins to discuss his transition to St. John's, the squad's eight-game winning streak and Friday night's meeting with the Huskies. The episode will also include a feature on Zuby Ejiofor's journey to 1,000 career points at St. John's. The senior became the 54th player in program history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark during his tenure in Queens.
The men's basketball player profile features Hopkins, who has started all 22 games for the Red Storm since transferring in from Providence. The Oak Park Ill., native is averaging 13.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. During the Johnnies eight-game winning streak, Hopkins has posted double-digit scoring efforts seven times.
The women's basketball feature highlights scoring threat Beautiful Waheed. The nation's top-ranked junior college prospect has made an instant impact for the Red Storm averaging 8.5 points per game on a team-high 36.4 percent shooting from 3-point range. The junior has logged 12 double-digit scoring performances this season.
