Episode Nine of the “Red Storm Report” Debuts Tonight on MSGSN

This week’s edition of “Red Storm Report” premieres at 8 p.m. prior to St. John’s regular season finale at Seton Hall
QUEENS, N.Y. - The penultimate episode of the 2026 season of the "Red Storm Report" debuts tonight at 8 p.m. on MSG Sports Network (MSGSN).
The ninth episode of the season will premiere prior to the New York Knicks pre-game show. This week's edition of the St. John's Basketball show will air again at midnight after the conclusion of coverage of the Knicks contest against the Denver Nuggets. The episode will re-air on Saturday at 3:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The No. 18/17 St. John's men's basketball team (24-6, 17-2 BIG EAST) can clinch a share of its second straight BIG EAST Regular Season Championship with a win in its regular season finale at Seton Hall at 9 p.m. on FS1. The women's basketball team will begin postseason play when it kicks off the 2026 BIG EAST Tournament at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday against 11th-seeded Xavier at 4 p.m. on Peacock. The winner will advance to face third-seeded Seton Hall on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
Red Storm Report, hosted by Brandon Tierney, provides an all-access behind the scenes look at the Red Storm men's and women's basketball programs. Each episode will be uploaded to RedStormSports.com and select individual segments will be available on YouTube and social media platforms.
This episode features a sit-down interview with Tierney and Head Coach Rick Pitino on the state of the Red Storm heading into the home stretch while also discussing Senior Night. Additionally, highlights from the women's basketball season are on display as the Johnnies prepare for the BIG EAST Tournament. The episode also includes a walk-and-talk with redshirt junior guard Dylan Darling.
The men's basketball player profile features sophomore Joson Sanon. Sanon is averaging 8.4 points per game on 35.2 percent shooting from 3-point range and 78.9 percent shooting from the free throw line. The Fall River Mass., native scored all 15 of his points in the second half during the comeback victory over Georgetown on Tuesday.
