St. John's Announces Inaugural Golf And Tennis Classic
Hall of Famer Chris Mullin, honorees headline the Oct. 1 Classic, held in support of women's athletic programs.
Beirne also serves on NCAA and St. John's University committees. She was a member of the NCAA Fencing Championships Committee and the Women's History Month Committee, and is the co-chair for the Women of Distinction Award Committee.
In the spring of 2002, Beirne was awarded the Outstanding Administrative Achievement Medal by St. John's University president Rev. Donald J. Harrington, C.M.
Beirne resides in Garden City, N.Y., with her three children, Kelli (14), Kristy (12) and Mattingly (after Don) (8).
