Peluso serves as the primary academic advisor for baseball, women's soccer, track & field and cross country student-athletes.
Prior to joining St. John's, Peluso served as a Service Learning Program Manager for the non-profit organization, buildOn. Located in the Bronx, the organization creates learning programs in urban areas and helps students make a positive difference in the community.
During his time with buildOn, he provided civic engagement and service learning platforms for students in public high schools, specifically Bronx Leadership Academy High School. He also was instrumental in bringing high school students from the Bronx to developing countries, where students helped build schools for communities that lacked access to education.
A double alumnus of St. John's, Peluso received his Bachelor of Science degree in adolescent education in 2013 before obtaining a dual master's degree in teaching English as a second language and teaching literacy in 2015.
