About Red Storm Cheerleading
The St. John's Cheerleading Team represents the university's Division I athletic programs in New York City. The Red Storm competes in the BIG EAST Conference and is among the most prominent athletic programs in the nation. Our program now consists of two teams: Red & Navy. Team Red is our all-girl team and Team Navy is our co-ed squad. In total, we have 36 dedicated student-athletes cheering on the Red Storm.We are New York's Team! St. John's Athletics is a Division I BIG EAST program. We are located on our main campus in Queens, NY and we perform throughout the city including The Barclays Center,, our on-campus venue Carnesecca Arena and the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. In addition to supporting our men's and women's basketball programs, the St. John's Cheerleaders perform at our volleyball, men's & women's soccer games. The team also performs at community service events both on and off campus. To be a part of the St. John's Cheerleading program is to be a part of family.
