Opening Statement…
“Well obviously coming on the road especially playing at a place like Creighton, it's going to be tough. I thought there were a couple loose balls that really turned out in their favor. They’ve got some hustle plays. [Ryan] Kalkbrenner got a couple of them and [Arthur] Kaluma really gave them an inspiration in the first half. That gave them the halftime lead and they came out with momentum. I thought our defense was the worst we played all year. They got anything they wanted and we have to be much better than that. It was a tough loss. It's going to hurt till midnight, but at the same time we have to keep pushing. The games keep coming."
On how Creighton was able to get through the defense…
“I thought we were letting them get to the middle of the lane. We lacked the physicality, toughness and grit that you have to play with and we let them coax their way into the lane, which led to more opportunities. We were indecisive in the terms of how we guarded them. We talked about getting the ball inside to Joel [Soriano] and he played well.”
On Creighton's offense…
“They did a good job. They spread us and they have guys that can shoot the basketball. I thought they did a good job of attacking us.”
