On the late-game execution…
“I thought our energy level was different. I thought the mindset was different with guys trusting one another and executing what we talked about. They had to make plays. I think the biggest thing was our execution on defense. That kept us in the in the game and gave us a chance.”
On Kolby King getting more playing time…
“He played well in the first half. He’s been playing well in practice; it was his turn. I think as he got his turn, he showed that he wanted to help the team. I thought that was big for us.”
On the message to the team heading into the next game…
“We have to keep building and getting better. I think we’re stepping into who we are. That’s the team that we thought we would see. Now we have to take it to the next level and get into the win column.”
On Rafael Pinzon…
“He’s healthy [now]. He hasn’t been healthy. That’s why you haven’t seen him as much. He’s been doing that in the preseason, and then he got hurt. We have to have him.”
