Opening statement…
“I thought we competed in the first half at a level that I thought was at least prideful. Even though we were down, I thought we did some good stuff. We were stuck at 32-19 for a while. I thought we gave up opportunities at that moment to kind of close the gap a little bit, even with [Lashae Dwyer] in some foul trouble. And then, obviously, the second half started great for about two minutes, and then after that, it kind of fell apart. Disappointed in the level that we brought through the rest of that second half, but it's kind of been what it is the last couple weeks, in terms of how we played. So, I thought offensively, we struggled mightily to counteract some of their pressure. We hadn't turned it over at that rate most of the year. We gotta turn around, we have a game on Saturday. So gotta flush it and move on.”
On the shot selection tonight…
“Obviously, the game is about shot-making. We took 24 threes based upon being pressured. And some of the shots were good, but there were many that were not part of what we're trying to do. So, I thought we did a pretty good job early of getting some good ones, taking advantage of some things, but we also, I thought, took some rush shots and took some shots that maybe we shouldn't have taken at the moment of the game. I tell our guys all the time, don't fail the game plan, let the game plan fail you. So, we've got to be a little bit stronger there.”
