Prior to St. John's: Started 106 out of 107 possible games during his collegiate career… Averaged 9.8 points on 60.0 percent shooting and 7.2 rebounds over the last two seasons at Cincinnati (2024-25) and Texas (2023-24)… Added 9.9 points and 6.9 rebounds for the Bearcats this season… Ranked 10th nationally with 66 dunks in 2024-25… Spent two seasons at Texas from 2022-24 including an Elite Eight appearance with the Longhorns in 2023… Logged 9.6 points and 7.5 boards as a sophomore… Set Texas freshman record for games played and started in 2022-23… Top-five overall prospect out of Montverde Academy according to ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports… Played in McDonald’s All-American Game… Mitchell and Ian Jackson mark the first time St. John’s has had two McDonald’s All-Americans on its roster since Omar Cook and Ron Artest in 1998-99
