Miller On Gillespie: 'Graeme is one of our best natural lefties. He is a good rider and has the ability to surprise you off the ball and with the ball if you underestimate him. We really need Graeme to have a big year and provide balance to our offense.'
As A Junior In 2007: Tallied eight goals on the season with two assists ... was fourth on the team in goals and fifth in points ... had three two-goal games ... scored a pair in the season opener at Bucknell (Feb. 18) ... also netted the last two goals of the game at Penn State (April 14) and sent in two more at Fairfield (April 29) ... picked up a total of 19 ground balls ... took 37 shots, 27 on goal.
As A Sophomore In 2006: Started 11-of-13 games played ... netted seven goals with two assists for a total of nine points ... took 11 shots, 10 on goal for a 63.6 shooting percentage ... picked up 15 ground balls ... season best game against Wagner (March 29) with two goals, one assist and four ground balls.
As A Freshman In 2005: Played in 12 games, starting nine ... tallied three points, one goal and two assists ... took 12 shots ... collected four groundballs.
Before St. John[apos]s: Member of the Section IV all-tournament team and a first team all-star during his junior and senior campaigns at Ithaca High School ... helped lead team to four-straight Section IV championships ... also played hockey, where team also won the section four consecutive years ... was also a Section III All-Star in ice hockey.
Off The Field: Born October 15, 1985, in Ithaca, N.Y. ... son of Graham and Pamela Gillespie ... has one sister, Heather (18) ... enjoys deep sea diving ... a finance major.
