Brandon Kuhn joined the St. John's Men's Basketball staff as the team's strength and conditioning coach in the summer of 2022.
In his most recent stint before coming to St. John's, Kuhn spent two years as the strength and conditioning coach for the University of Miami women's basketball program, helping the Hurricanes win 21 games and reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2022.
Before arriving in Coral Gables, Kuhn served as the men's basketball strength coach at South Alabama after holding dual responsibilities as the strength coach and director of basketball operations at Manhattan College from 2017-19.
Kuhn's first stint in New York followed two years as the director of strength and conditioning at Coppin State and three years as an associate director at Western Kentucky, where he helped the Hilltoppers to consecutive Sun Belt Championships in 2012 and 2013.
Kuhn's start in college athletics came at Texas Tech, where he began as a graduate assistant in 2007 before eventually working his way to the role of head men's basketball strength and conditioning coach by 2011.
A 2006 graduate of Angelo State University with a degree in exercise science, Kuhn earned his master's in strength and condition from Texas Tech in 2010.
