Dan Fitzpatrick joined the Red Storm for the 2023-24 season as a graduate assistant, working directly with scouting, analytics and game preparation.
The Fairfield, Conn., native comes to Queens after one season as a graduate assistant under Hall of Fame Head Coach Rick Pitino at Iona. While in New Rochelle, he helped the Gaels to a MAAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships with a 27-8 overall record in 2022-23. Fitzpatrick also provided assistance in day-to-day operations of the program.
Prior to his tenure in New Rochelle, Fitzpatrick spent the better part of four seasons under Jim Boeheim as a team manager for the Syracuse men's basketball program. He saw his responsibilities increase after being promoted to head student manager during the 2021-22 season, assisting in day-to-day functions varying from breaking down game film to team meal coordination to statistical annotation.
Fitzpatrick graduated from Syracuse in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and is working towards his master's degree at St. John's.
