As a Sophomore (Fall 2023)
Logged 13 appearances, four of which were starts … recorded a pair of assists in 390 minutes of work … played a season-high 84 minutes in the team’s 1-0 victory at RV Marquette (Sept. 29) … logged an assist off the bench against Villanova (Oct. 14) … ripped three shot attempts and posted one helper in the team’s 2-2 draw against Creighton (Oct. 28).
As a Freshman (Fall 2022)
Appeared in 10 games, making three starts … racked up six total shots … logged back-to-back 53-minute showings in starts against Lehigh (Sept. 2) and at Indiana (Sept. 6) … registered a pair of shots against Loyola Maryland (Sept. 9).
Before St. John’s
A four-sport standout at Oakcrest High School, where he played soccer, lacrosse basketball and golf… scored 12 goals and dished out 20 assists during his junior soccer campaign, the latter of which was good enough for second in the state… led his team to a pair of conference championships as a sophomore and junior… earned first team all-conference accolades as a junior… played on the club circuit with Real JFC… won a US Youth Soccer U17 National Championship in 2021… previously competed with the New Jersey Olympic Developmental Program (ODP) team and the Region One ODP Team.

Colin Sebastian Veltri… son of Louis and Katharine Veltri… has two older brothers, Matthew and Justin, both of whom played soccer at Rider University… brother Matthew played professionally in Spain after college… lists his brothers as the people that have most influenced his athletic career and Kyrie Irving as his favorite athlete… chose St. John’s for the chance to play in the BIG EAST, as well as the school’s academic and athletic reputations… a member of the National Honor Society.
