Attended Mater Dei Prep as a junior and senior after starring for Christian Brothers Academy… as the only underclassman on the varsity team, McStravick helped lead CBA to a Shore Conference Championship and a Non-Public A Sectional Championship in 2015… played for Cedar Stars Academy on the club circuit… helped Cedar Stars reach the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs in 2016… has trained with Linfield FC in Belfast.

Declan Pierce McStravick… son of Frank and Michele McStravick… his father, Frank, excelled in Gaelic football, hurling and soccer in his native Ireland… has two younger siblings, Keira and Cathal… lists U-20 national team coach Tab Ramos as the most influential person in his athletic career and Roy Keane as his favorite athlete… chose St. John’s for its soccer program, coaching staff, location and academics… intends to major in biology and minor in Spanish.
