Role for 2012: Will serve as student-manager, assisting the coaching staff with day-to-day operations.
As A Junior (2011): Appeared in eight sets over six games ... contributed one dig vs. Marquette (Oct. 2) ... added another dig vs. Syracuse (Oct. 1).
At Siena College: Appeared in 27 matches and 62 sets over two-year career ... helped compile 25 wins with the Saints ... tallied 57 kills, 30 digs, 11 blocks and three assists ... registered season-high six kills in the opening round of the 2010 MAAC Championship against Saint Peter[apos]s (Nov. 18) ... recorded three kills in a 3-0 win over Iona (Nov. 13) ... added two kills in a 3-1 win against Rider (Oct. 3) ... opened sophomore season with three kills against American (Sept. 11) ... had a career-high eight kills and three digs in 3-1 win over Canisius (Nov. 7, 2009) ... member of the Dean[apos]s List.
At Classical: A three-time Rhode Island First Team All-State volleyball player (2006-08) ... named the Cox Communications Outstanding Female Athlete and Providence Journal Girl Athlete of the Year after totaling 249 kills, 34 blocks and posting a .430 attacking percentage in 2009 ... a two-year team captain ... led the Lady Purple to its first ever Rhode Island Division I Championship final ... played club volleyball for the Rhode Island Blast ... a Providence Journal Scholar Athlete ... also lettered in basketball, swimming and track and field.
Personal: Enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, dancing, laughing and puzzles as her favorite hobbies ... transferred to St. John[apos]s for its location, her major and the strong volleyball program ... has one older sister, Jaren (22), who attends Quinnipiac University ... lists her mother as the most influential person in her life ... plans to be a magazine editor or have her own television show in the future ... majoring in journalism.
