Bio
As A Freshman In 2006-07: Cross Country - qualified and competed in the NCAA Regional competition, finished second for the Red Storm at 24:47.6 ... was the first Red Storm team member to cross the tape at the ECAC Championships (Nov. 18) with her season best time in the 5K of 19:51.0 ... her second best 5K time was her 29th place finish at the Metropolitan Championships (Oct. 6) of 19:57 ... ran as one of the top three runners in all four of the 5K races ... finished third for the Red Storm at the BIG EAST Championships at 25:24 ... season best 6K time, 23:51.59 ... Indoor - was the Metropolitan Championship (Jan. 26) runner up in the 800-meters with a time of 2:14.94 ... was 14th at the New Balance Invitational (Feb. 2) in the 800-meters with a time of 2:17.68.
At Toms River North: Set the school record in the 800-meters ... member of the 4x800-meter relay team that broke the school and county record her junior year ... helped lead team to the South Jersey Group IV State Sectional title her sophomore and junior seasons ... finished 18th at the Nike Nationals in the 800-meters ... named Most Outstanding Track Performer for the indoor season as a junior and senior and for the outdoor season her senior year ... crossed the line in 19:04 in the 5K, 400-meters in 57.8, 2:17.3 in the 800-meters, and 5:18 in the 1,600-meters.
Personal: Daughter of Bernadette Diab and John Petruski ... born July 21, 1988 in Toms River, N.J. ... has two sisters, Jennifer (21) and Johanna (14) ... an undecided major.
