JoAnne Zissel is in her fourth year working with the men’s basketball staff as an administrative assistant in 2022-23.
Zissel is no stranger to St. John’s Athletics, having served in the same role in the Student Athlete Center for Excellence for 13 years before moving over to Taffner Field House.
Zissel lives in New Hyde Park with her husband, Anthony. The couple has two children, both of whom are St. John’s graduates. Edward graduated in 2009 while Erica is a double alumna of the University, graduating with her bachelor’s degree in 2012 before completing her master’s degree in 2014. Erica is currently pursuing her doctorate of education in administration & supervision.
