In this role, Thomas coordinated NCAA eligibility for 13 varsity programs, collaborating with the registrar, academic advisors and the eligibility center to ensure student-athletes met academic and amateurism standards. She also led educational programming on NCAA and CUNYAC rules for the department's student-athletes, coaches and staff. Thomas also managed the recruiting and transfer processes for multiple sports.
Thomas was also a member of the Division III Softball Regional Advisory Committee (Region IV) during her time at Brooklyn College.
Before Brooklyn College, Thomas served as a graduate assistant with the St. John's Compliance office during the 2021-22 season, where she assisted in managing student-athlete NIL disclosures and progress-toward-degree certification. She also contributed to department-wide educational sessions on a variety of compliance-related topics.
Thomas holds both a Master of Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Science from St. John's, both in sports management.
