Sydney Halligan is in her fourth year at St. Johnís and in her third season as the head trainer for the women's basketball program.

Halligan graduated from Marist College in 2019 with Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Halligan completed her Masters of Professional Studies at St. Johnís university in 2021, while serving as a graduate assistant in the Sports Medicine department.

During her time as a graduate assistant, Halligan worked with softball, women's soccer, and women's tennis. In the summer of 2021, Halligan was hired as assistant athletic trainer for women's basketball. Halligan is a member of the National Athletic Training Association.

Halligan is a New Jersey native and currently resides in Queens, N.Y.
