STOKLOSA NAMED GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Jamaica, NY - Senior goalkeeper Jeff Stoklosa was named co-Goalkeeper of the Week this week by the BIG EAST Conference. He shared that honor with Connecticut goalkeeper, Bryheem Hancock.

Stoklosa (Newark, DE) made his first appearance in five games this week, after sitting out due to an injury to his finger before the Pittsburgh match on September 9th. In his first start, against #3 Connecticut, Stoklosa made five saves, holding the Huskies scoreless for 120 minutes. The game ended in a 0-0 tie.

The shutout was Stoklosas second of the season. He is undefeated this season, posting a 3-0-1 record. Stoklosa has recorded 413 minutes this season in four appearances. He has 11 saves and allowed just three goals for a 0.65 goals against average.
