BRADLEY, GAUDETTE GIVEN BIG EAST HONORS

Jamaica, NY - Goalkeeper Bill Gaudette was given Rookie of the Week honors, while Rich Bradley was named Co-Defender of the Week for the BIG EAST. This was the first time either player attained BIG EAST honors this season.
Gaudette (Hummelstown, PA) has posted a 4-1 record since starting in goal for injured goalie Jeff Stoklosa. This week, he recorded two shut outs, as the Red Storm defeated West Virginia, 4-0, and Georgetown, 1-0. He made five saves. Gaudette currently boasts a 0.41 goals against average, with all his appearances coming against BIG EAST foes.
Bradley (Bayport, NY) was not only a part of the St. Johns defense that held the Mountaineers and Hoyas scoreless, but he also netted the game-winner against Georgetown. Bradley converted a direct kick by Jeff Matteo in the 88th minute to put the Red Storm ahead of the Hoyas, 1-0. He currently has two goals and an assist on the season.
