CLARK, RETT EARN WOMEN'S SOCCER NORTHEAST HONORS

Clark (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) was named to the All-Northeast Third Team for the second straight season. She was the team leader in points with 21 and assists (11). She was tied for second on the team with five goals. Clark broke into the top of the Red Storm record books this season. Her 11 assists tied her for first in assists for a season. Clarks 27 career assists is first among all St. Johns scorers, while her 55 career points are fourth all-time.
After already earning BIG EAST All-Rookie Team honors, Rett (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream Central) was named to the All-Northeast Rookie Team. The defender was a key factor in the Red Storm defense, immediately inserted as a starter. She was part of a defense responsible for six shutouts. Offensively, she dished out two assists for the season. Rett became the first member of a Red Storm squad to be named to both the St. Johns All-Rookie Team and the All-Northeast Rookie Team since Clark was given those honors in 1997.
The Red Storm finished the season with a 12-9-0 mark and a 1-4-0 record in the BIG EAST. The top seed in this years ECAC Tournament, they were once again runners-up, falling to Pennsylvania, 0-1, in the finals.
