Red Storm Baseball to Host Villanova Saturday Afternoon

JAMAICA, N.Y. -- Due to inclement weather in the Philadelphia area, the BIG EAST baseball doubleheader featuring St. Johns and Villanova has been moved to the Red Storms Jamaica campus. A doubleheader is scheduled to begin at approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at The Ballpark at St. Johns University.

St. Johns (10-10, 4-3 BIG EAST) was originally slated to travel to Philadelphia on Friday for a three-game series against Villanova (9-11, 2-4 BIG EAST), but the Wildcats home park, Richie Ashburn Field, was not playable, so the coaching staffs moved the games to SJUs new 3,500-seat on-campus ballpark.
