BIG EAST ALL-STARS EARN FIRST TOUR VICTORY

The all-stars were held scoreless until the five-minute mark of the first quarter, but outscored the opponent 12-2 over the next three minutes. The BIG EAST team took a 49-35 halftime lead and began the second half with a 10-0 run.
Villanovas Trish Juhline finished the game as the high scorer with 15 points, including 13 in the first half and three three-pointers in the contest. Syracuses Julie McBride and Miamis Yolanda Whigham each scored 12. Leslie Ardon of Seton Hall contributed 11 points and eight rebounds.
Virginia Tech guard Chrystal Starling dislocated her shoulder and will not play any games on the tour.
The BIG EAST All-Stars will face Bonn BBC again on Wednesday night.
