BIG EAST ALL-STARS CONCLUDE FOREIGN TOUR 6-0

The BIG EAST team used a strong defensive effort marked by steals and fast break layups to earn the final victory. Notre Dames Ericka Haney recorded her fifth double-figure scoring game of the tour with a team-high 18 points. Rasheedah Brown of St. Johns added 15 points and four assists. Seton Halls Leslie Ardon had a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double. Julie McBride of Syracuse led the assist column with seven.
Haney finished as the teams top scorer averaging 13.0 points. Georgetowns Rebekkah Brunson, the 2000-01 BIG EAST Rookie of the Year, was the top rebounder (6.2). Ardon was second in scoring (11.5) and rebounding (5.7).
The All-Stars will spend Tuesday sightseeing in Munich before returning to Boston on Wednesday.
