Masur to Assist U.S. National Under-20 Team

Masur, who guided the Red Storm to their 10th BIG EAST Championship and second Final Four appearance this year, will be working with the U-20 National team from April 21-29 at the National Training Center in Pomona, California.
He will serve as an assistant to Thomas Rongen, the former coach of Major League Soccers D.C. United, during a four-game tour.
Masur has been at St. Johns 11 years and guided the Red Storm to unparalleled heights, highlighted by winning the 1996 National Championship. Since his arrival at St. Johns in 1991, the team has advanced to the NCAA Tournament 10 times, reaching the Sweet Sixteen the last six years, and the Elite Eight in three of the last six seasons.
St. Johns is in the process of building the new home of St. Johns Soccer, with Belson Stadium, which will hold approximately 3,000 people, set to open in the Fall.
