Rainout in Syracuse Ends St. Johns Softball Teams Season

Jamaica, N.Y.- The St. Johns softball team traveled to Syracuse for the second time this season and for the second time rain has forced the cancellation of a doubleheader. The games will not be rescheduled.

The Red Storm finishes the season with a record of 22-31-1, 5-13 in BIG EAST play. The team graduates seniors; Cecelia Baston (Falmouth, Maine), Marilyn Brown (Bronx, N.Y.), Amy Crook (Belleville, Ill.), Kelly Houghton (Millsboro, Del.), Tiffany Howerton (Escondido, Calif.), Ann Raab (Freehold, N.J.), Lisa Tropea (Oceanside, N.Y.), and Christina Wellington (Lee, Mass.) and has a solid group of underclassman returning for next season.
