Red Storm Baseball Game vs. LaSalle Cancelled

JAMAICA, N.Y. -- The St. Johns baseball game, scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at The Ballpark against LaSalle, has been cancelled.
The Explorers (8-38) were scheduled to depart from Philadelphia this afternoon, but travel problems resulted in the team not being able to depart, and the game has been cancelled.
St. Johns (23-20) will still play on Wednesday at New York Tech, with a 3 p.m. start, and then will host Long Island University on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Red Storm will host Seton Hall in a crucial BIG EAST Conference series this weekend. The Red Storm stand in seventh place overall with a 10-10 league mark, two-and-a-half games behind Rutgers for the fourth and final spot in the BIG EAST Tournament.
St. Johns and Seton Hall will play a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m., and then play a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
