JAMAICA, N.Y. -- St. Johns junior goalkeeper Bill Gaudette (Hummelstown, Pa) earned numerous accolades for his play this past week, being named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week and College Soccer News Player of the Week.
According to College Soccer News, Gaudette is doing all the things that a keeper must do to allow his team to be successful.
He has posted a 0.34 goals against average through nine games this season, most recently posting back-to-back 1-0 shutout wins over 10th-ranked Notre Dame and Pittsburgh. After yielding two goals in the first game of the season, he has allowed only one goal in the last 740 minutes of play, posting a 0.12 GAA in that span.
Gaudette has helped lead the Red Storm to a 7-1-1 overall record and 4-1-0 BIG EAST Conference record.
