Red Storm Softball Doubleheader at Hofstra Postponed

JAMAICA, N.Y. - The doubleheader between the St. John's University softball team and Hofstra scheduled for this afternoon at the Hofstra University Softball Stadium has been postponed. The games are scheduled to be made up on Thursday, April 22 at 3:30 p.m.
St. John's has been playing well of late, winning eight of their last 10 games, to improve to 17-15 overall and 3-1 in the BIG EAST. The Red Storm continue BIG EAST play this weekend as they travel to Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh for a pair of doubleheaders. On Friday, St. John's takes on the Hokies, who hold a 30-14 overall record and 6-4 mark in the conference, with the first game scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. The Red Storm take on Pittsburgh (16-22, 1-5) on Sunday beginning at noon.
