Red Storm Baseball and Softball Doubleheaders Cancelled

Queens, NY - Due to inclement weather in the New York metropolitan area, today's scheduled baseball and softball doubleheaders set to take place on the Queens campus have been cancelled. A make-up date for the Red Storm softball's home opener against Fairleigh Dickinson will be announced at a later date, while the baseball's BIG EAST opener with Connecticut will not be made up.

St. John's softball (11-15) is scheduled to travel to Yale on Wednesday, March 30 for a non-league doubleheader with the Bulldogs, set to begin at 3 pm. Next Saturday, the Red Storm kick off BIG EAST play, as they welcome the defending BIG EAST Tournament champion Seton Hall to Red Storm Field. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at noon.

Red Storm baseball (8-8) will return to the diamond for the BIG EAST opener on Saturday, March 26, when they host Boston College for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
