Queens, NY - St. John's shot freshman Keegan Bradley (Hopkinton, MA) shot a three-over par 75 in the second round and the Red Storm men's golf team enters the final day of play at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate in North Carolina in 11th place.
St. John's posted a two-round score of 61-over par 637 and is 11th of 12 teams, 51 shots off the pace of first place SMU, who leads at 10-over par 586. Xavier is three shots off the pace and in second place, followed by Indiana (19-over par 595), Southern Mississippi and Marquette (23-over par 599), Richmond (30-over par 606), UNC-Wilmington (32-over par 608), Washington State (36-over par 612), East Carolina (37-over par 613), Akron (46-over par 622), St. John's and Bowling Green (63-over par 639).
Indiana's Jeff Overton leads the individual field, carding a five-under par 139 to take command in the field of 63 golfers.
Bradley shot a first round five-over par 77 and came back to card a three-over par 75 in the second round. He is tied for 22nd place at eight-over par 152.
Junior Tom Travalja (Oradell, NJ) is tied for 50th place at 15-over par 159, Brian McArdle (Huntington, NY) is in 54th place at 17-over par 161, sophomore Joe Yastrub (Lake Grove, NY) is in 58th place at 21-over par 165 and senior Ian Middleton (British Columbia, Canada) is in 63rd place with a 28-over par 172.
The final round of play will be held on Tuesday.
