Women's Golf Places Sixth at Dartmouth Invitational

Queens, NY - The St. John's women's golf team placed sixth at the Dartmouth Invitational this weekend in its first fall invitational of the season. Junior Christin Thomson (Ft. Francis, Ontario, Canada/Ft. Francis) was the top finisher for the Red Storm, coming in sixth place.
Thomson stroked her way to a nine over par for the weekend after shooting a 72 on Saturday and an 81 on Sunday for a combined score of 153. Coming in close behind Thomson was freshman Brittany Lambertson (Northport, NY/Northport) with a 156. Lambertson finished 12 over par and shot 75 and 81 respectively.
Rounding out the scorers for the Red Storm were senior Jaclyn Sanders (Brights Grove, Ontario/St. Christopher) and junior Maggie Steciuk (London, Ontario/South Huron District). Sanders finished both days with 162 points and Steciuk finished with 167.
Next up for the Red Storm is the Princeton Invitational on September 24 and 25
