Women's Golf Recieves BIG EAST Championship Rings

Members of the St. John's women's golf team received their 2005 BIG EAST Championship rings during half-time of the men's basketball game vs. Lousiville, Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Madison Square Garden. Director of Athletics Chris Monasch was on hand to pass out the rings and congratulate the team. The Red Storm brought home the first ever women's golf BIG EAST Championship title after winning five tournaments throughout the spring, another program record. The BIG EAST Championship is the first for a St. John's women's team since 1994.
