Jo Sherlock Earns BIG EAST Honorable Mention

ORLANDO, FLA. - Senior Jo Sherlock was given an honorable mention by the BIG EAST for the week of March 7. This is the second time Sherlock has been recognized by the BIG EAST in the first three weeks of play. She earned BIG EAST Player of the Week on Feb. 20.

Sherlock hit .500 in a three games against Stetson. She went 5-for10 with a double, three runs and an RBI. Defensively, Sherlock was just as important. In the third game of the series between the two teams, she made a play to keep what would have been an out of the park home run to a triple, getting her glove over the fence just in time to knock the ball back into the park.

The Red Storm is currently on its spring break trip and will take on Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday, March 8 at 4 p.m. before heading to Tallahassee for the Florida State Tournament, March 10-12.
