Lisa Geer Makes BIG EAST Honor Roll

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's softball pitcher Lisa Geer (Anaheim, Calif.) landed on the BIG EAST's weekly honor roll just two weeks after earning Pitcher of the Week accolades.
Geer pitched a complete game against conference foe Rutgers on Sunday, April 9, recording her eighth win of the season in style as the Red Storm defeated the Scarlet Knights 5-1. She allowed only one run off of four hits and walked none. Geer fanned nine over seven innings, including the last three batters she faced. During the third, fourth and fifth innings, she retired the side in order.
The Red Storm will continue league play when it hosts Villanova on Thursday, April 13 at 12 p.m. on Red Storm Field.
