Women??' Golf Finishes Third At Dartmouth Invitational

QUEENS, N.Y. - In its first showing of the fall season, the Red Storm women???s golf team finished third at the Dartmouth Invitational. The team shot a combined 621 and junior Brittany Lambertson took second place overall.

Lambertson shot even par on the par 72 course on Sunday, finishing with a146 overall. She was just one stroke shy of first place honors.

Freshman Renee Cloutier finished her first collegiate event with an 11-over par 155 and tied for 12th place. Classmate Samantha Tejada finished two strokes behind Cloutier with a 157.

Fellow rookies Ashley Szewczuk and Lauren Milosh both improved in the second round of the invitational. Szewczuk finished with a 163 while Milosh shot a 167.

Next up for the Red Storm will be the Princeton Invitational, Sept. 23 -24.
