Women??' Golf Finishes Third At Princeton Invitational

The St. John???s women???s golf team took third place at the Princeton Invitational, Sunday, Sept. 24. The team carded a 640 over the 36 hole event.

For the second consecutive week, junior Brittany Lambertson finished in second place overall and led her team to another third place ranking. She shot even par in the first round and posted a 148.

Rookie Renee Cloutier tied for 12th place and shot a 156 (77-79) in her second collegiate outing. It also marked her second straight week with a top-20 performance.

Rounding out the starting five for St. John???s were Ashley Szewczuk, Samantha Tejada and Lauren Milosh. Szewczuk barely missed breaking into the top-20 with a 163 while Tejada and Milosh carded a 174 and 181, respectively.

The women???s golf team will head to the Yale Fall Intercollegiate next Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1.
