Tate Leaves Women's Basketball Program For Personal Reasons

QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's head women's basketball coach Kim Barnes Arico announced that junior Angel Tate has left the program for personal reasons.

"Angel has made the decision to leave the program," Barnes Arico said. "We wish her the best of luck with her future endeavors."

Tate, a native of Birmingham, Ala., played in three games this season and averaged 4.7 points and 3.7 rebounds.
