Women??' Golf Prepares For 2007 BIG EAST Championships

The St. John???s women???s golf team will travel to the 2007 BIG EAST Championships in Louisville, Ky., April 22-24. The Championships will be hosted by Lousiville, with 18 holes being played each day over the three round event at the Cardinal Club.
The Red Storm women???s golf team is coming off a fourth place finish at the Roar-ee Invitational. Junior Brittany Lambertson took home her first championship title of the spring with a seven-over par 149. Samantha Tejada andRenee Cloutier finished seventh and 11th respectively.
Rookies Lois Kim and Cloutier have anchored the team throughout the spring. Kim was the first place finisher for the Red Storm at the Tresure Coast Classic and the USF/Waterlefe Invitational while Cloutier has come up with three top-10 finishes. Lamberston also has a pair of top-10 appearances for St. John???s.
Tejada and late season-addition Michelle Romano will round out St. John???s lineup at this season???s Championship Tournament.
