Women??' Golf In Sixth Place At BIG EAST Championships

The St. John???s women???s golf team is in sixth place with a 320 after the first day of the 2007 BIG EAST Championships. Brittany Lamberston is leading her team, tied for 11th, and is one of three Red Storm golfers in the top 20. Rookies Lois Kim and Samantha Tejada are sitting in 18th and 20th overall.
Lambertson???s five-over par 77 has her hovering right outside of the top 10 after the first 18 holes of the tournament. Kim finished just two strokes behind Lambertson with a 79 and Tejada carded an 80.
Freshmen Renee Cloutier and Michelle Romano posted an 84 and 85, respectively.
